The New York SongSpace is a creative, collaborative space for musical theatre songwriters to gather and build community and to create, learn and mentor. SongSpace was founded by Kara Unterberg with the idea that when creative people connect with creative people, creativity flourishes. The space provides artists with private writing and collaboration rooms as well as a common space for meetings, conferences, lectures, table readings, workshops and educational opportunities for younger writers.
